Since everyone uses a computer in a different way, it can be difficult to choose the right gaming keyboard for your needs. Tenkeyless keyboards are popular because of their compact size (80% of the size of a traditional board) and because they allow more room for the mouse. The keyboard uses Razer's proprietary "Orange" key switches, which are designed to be tactile and quiet. The actuation point of the switches is 1.9mm, with a travel of 4mm, and our friends at Windows Central have a great description of Razer's various switches, which you can read here.

Since this is a tenkeyless keyboard, there is no number pad and the keys are slightly smaller than on traditional boards. Each key has individually addressable LED backlighting (no RGB), and there is a built-in O-ring to further reduce noise; macros can be programmed using Razer's desktop software, and the USB cable is removable for easy replacement/portability.
