Members of the three groups developing Streets of Rage 4, Dotemu, Guard Crush, and Lizardcube, recently conducted an AMA on Reddit. In between questions about when they would add the missing character, Eddie "Skate" Hunter, and whether they would give everyone a dash move, they were asked: will DLC be added to Streets of Rage 4?

According to Cyrille Imbert, CEO and executive producer of Dotemu, the answer is yes. Nothing has been decided yet," he writes, "but we have a ton of ideas and we're listening to what you have to say." So there will definitely be more content. I just need more time to decide what to do and when.

Cyrille Lagarigue, lead programmer at Guard Crush Games, added, "We are thinking about adding playable characters, but we haven't decided yet. She also responded that "it would be nice to have color options."

Imbert was also asked if a "Streets of Rage 5" is planned." We haven't discussed it yet, but we want to focus on SoR4 first and keep adding content.
