The release date for Immortals Fenyx Rising has been leaked ahead of its release next week.

Earlier this week, Ubisoft announced that the "full version" of Immortals Fenyx Rising, the action-adventure game formerly known as Gods & Monsters, would be released on September 10. However, thanks to a leak in the Microsoft Store (via Wario64), the game's release date has been revealed, along with some colorful screenshots.

While the Microsoft Store page is no longer accessible as of this writing, the leak appears to be genuine and the source is solid: Immortals Fenyx Rising will be released on December 3 on Xbox One (and possibly PC)! .

The description gives some hints as to how it will be played. Phoenix is the protagonist, who "wields the power of the gods, like the sword of Achilles and the wings of Daedalus, to fight powerful enemies and solve ancient puzzles." He will fight mythical beasts such as Medusa and Cyclops "in the air and on the ground" (an advantage only a "winged demigod" can have).

It is an open-world game with "seven unique regions" inspired by the gods and seems to have quite a few options when it comes to weapons: self-guided arrows, telekinesis, etc.

The leak appears to be genuine, but these details will probably be officially confirmed at next week's Ubisoft Forward. But first, here are the screenshots that were posted.
