General
Crusader Kings 3 is now available in Australia.

Last week, "Crusader Kings 3" was mysteriously blockaded by Australian buyers, and both the game's publisher, Paradox Interactive, and the Australian Classification Board seemed a bit confused by the situation. While it is still unclear why the game was initially denied classification and therefore could not be purchased, the good news is that the game has been rated MA15+ and has been approved for release.

The Australian Classification Board confirmed to Kotaku Australia that the game's listing now shows a rating of MA15+. But don't sound the victory trumpet just yet; Crusader Kings 3 is already available on the Microsoft Store for A$74.95, but Steam's listing has not yet been updated. Those who insist on keeping their game libraries on Steam will still have to wait (but probably not for long).

Meanwhile, the game is already available on Xbox Game Pass for PC. There was originally a workaround to play the game in Australia last week, but that was quickly quashed.

The delay was annoying, but definitely worth the wait. In his review, Fraser describes the game as "an irrepressible story engine that spits out a constant stream of fascinating alt-history. Alternatively, one could get stuck into the game's already thriving mod scene.
