Dogs and other things were added in Sea of Sheaves, but mainly dogs

Sea of Thieves' latest update, "Vaults of the Ancients," has finally arrived, bringing new voyages to secret treasuries, an enchanted compass to help find hidden map pieces, and dogs!

Here's the main thing: Sea of Thieves now has dogs.

Naturally, they must be bought with ancient coins that cost real money: 499 coins ($5.49) per dog, but the Dog Pack Bundle, which gives you all three types of dogs (Alsatian, Whippet and Canine), is available for 1,249 coins ($12.49) It is available for 1,249 coins ($12.49). You can also buy dog costumes (the bundle comes with one costume per dog), which cost 249 coins ($2.99) each.

Additionally, if you don't have the coins and aren't interested in spending money on a virtual pirate dog, you can still interact with the pets of the people you are playing with. You can pick up pets, pet them, feed them worms or bananas, or have them fire from a cannon.

I spent 10 cents because I am very susceptible to fake pets. I opted for the whippet and I don't regret it. Jasper is a very nice boy and my new best friend.

But back to the actual Vaults of the Ancients update. These new voyages begin when you speak to a Gold Hoarder representative (if you have reached a rank of 25 or higher). The treasure vaults are buried deep underground and protected by traps, so their location is kept secret, but the Hoarder will give you an enchanted compass, which you can use to locate the scattered map pieces and lead them to the keys to the vaults.

Once the key is found, you can sell it to a hoarder or go search the vaults yourself and sell what you find inside.

Oh, Jasper is peeing!

Where was I? If you haven't reached rank 25 yet in Gold Holders, don't worry: Look for the new character Lalinna, who hangs out by the pubs in every outpost. She is said to be able to tell you another way to earn Vault voyage. Also, if you want to buy cosmetic items on the black market, Lalinna will be your contact.

Mainly, dogs appear in Sea of Thieves. I'll make sure you take good care of them like I do.
