Remedy celebrates its 25th anniversary by making its first game, Death Rally, permanently free, available on Steam as Death Rally (Classic), a slightly nostalgic top-down death race game. Boasting "animations," Death Rally has you hurling bullets at enemies on the course and dodging bullets thrown back at you. The game is notable for its very early, authentic progression system. By climbing ladders, you can get new vehicles with unique weapons or upgrade your current vehicle.

Remedy is perhaps best known as the developers of "Max Payne," "Alan Wake," and "Control." They developed a much-maligned revival of "Death Rally" in 2012.
