Glorious Model O goes wireless and weighs only 69 grams

If you are looking for an ultralight mouse with RGB lighting, the Glorious Model O (67g) is perfect for medium to large hands and the Model O- (59g) for small to medium hands. And if you are looking for a wireless model, good news - Glorious answers the call with the Model O Wireless.

The Model O Wireless, as the name implies, is a wireless version of the regular Model O, at least in look and feel. Weighing in at a not-so-light 69 grams, it is incredibly nimble for a gaming mouse, even lighter than Razer's Viper Ultimate, which weighs 74 grams.

While it looks the same as the Model O, the wireless version has a slightly different internal construction; Glorious tells us it will feature an all-new proprietary BAMF sensor and is now releasing full details on its specs.

The wired Model O uses a Pixart 3360 sensor with 12,000 DPI, while the new wireless version will come with up to 19,000 DPI and 400 IPS tracking speed.

Glorious also boasts a click latency of only 2.08 ms, which the company claims is the lowest latency of any top-tier gaming mouse based on figures from its internal team (according to the company, these figures may vary slightly depending on individual testing (According to the company, these numbers may vary slightly depending on individual tests.) Thankfully, we obtained a nifty new test rig from Nvidia to test this claim.

According to Glorious, with RGB lighting disabled, the Model O Wireless has a battery life of 71 hours. This is slightly better than the Viper Ultimate, which is rated for 70 hours of battery life.

Glorious will begin accepting pre-orders for the Model O Wireless on September 23. No release date has been set, but according to the company, the retail price is $80.
