The classic adventure puzzle Myst already has several versions: the Myst Masterpiece Edition, released in 1999, and its updated version, realMyst: there is also a Masterpiece Edition released in 2014 . Also, if you still have a disc of the original 1993 game, you can probably get it to work somehow.
But Myst is back, once again, "rebuilt" and "built from the ground up to be playable in VR and on flat screen PCs, with new art, sound, interaction, and optional puzzle randomization."
Myst in VR is certainly appealing, at least from a nostalgia standpoint. If I remember correctly, there was a lot of searching around the screen to find pixels to activate. The puzzles were also quite challenging. But being able to move freely around the recreated "Myst" world, especially in VR, still sounds quite appealing.
A trailer is below, and the official website is here. Developer Cyan Inc. has not yet announced a release date.
