This SteelSeries headset connects to PC/PS5 and phone simultaneously.

With the upcoming launch of Sony's PlayStation 5, SteelSeries has announced a headset that can be used on new gaming consoles as well as PCs. This is one of the selling points of the new Arctis 9 Wireless. Another is the dual wireless capability.

Like many wireless gaming headsets, the Arctis 9 Wireless connects via a 2.4GHz dongle to provide a "latency-free gaming experience. But at the same time, the Bluetooth connection also works. What does this mean?

This means that you can connect the headset to your smartphone and suck up lossless 2.4GHz audio from your game while making calls, playing music, and VoIP chatting. The same dual-connection feature is available on the Arctis 9X and Arctis Pro Wireless.

A pair of 40mm neodymium drivers deliver audio to the eardrums with a frequency response of 20-20,000Hz. As for chatting, SteelSeries says the retractable two-way microphone is certified for Discord.

From the press renderings, the ergonomic design appears to be the same as the Arctis 7, with the familiar ski goggle suspension headband. The drivers are probably the same. The specs at least [but the battery life isn't that great; SteelSeries says the Arctis 9 Wireless is capable of up to 20 hours (versus 24 hours) of "non-stop wireless use" and has a wireless range of 40 ft.
