I didn't know this, but Steam is full of pirate-themed games. That's because tomorrow, September 19, is International Talk Like a Pirate Day.

Some of the games in the sale are straight-up pirate games, while others are a bit overwhelming: Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire, for example, is a party-based fantasy RPG from Obsidian in which you explore islands aboard a large sailing ship. You will be on a large sailing ship. (It also includes the "Tropico" games, and "Solar Sails" (Space Pirates).

My favorite of these is "V ARRR," an HTC Vive game about defending your ship from pirates; user reviews on Steam are mixed, but this title alone is worth the purchase. (It's on sale for $1.)
