The VR market is surprisingly booming: demand for headsets has been high since Half-Life was announced: since Alyx was announced, demand for headsets has been high and there is still a long waiting list for those who want to get their hands on Valve's Index. But it seems that the high demand is not limited to Valve: HP announced in a blog post some details about the upcoming Reverb G2 headset:

"Due to high demand, all pre-orders placed today, September 24, will begin arriving in early December from channel partners to start reaching customers in early December."

Besides, those who already pre-ordered before yesterday's announcement can expect delivery of the new Reverb G2 "this fall, starting early November 2020". Not right now.
