Ashfall is a "camping, survival, and needs mod" that adds new features to Morrowind with a realistic survival theme; it looks to be the most comprehensive release of this kind of mod for Morrowind to date. It includes basic survival mechanics such as fatigue, sleep, hunger, thirst, and cooking. There is also a temperature system for survival depending on the region, weather, and time of day. New items such as tents, sleeping bags, cooking utensils, and axes for chopping wood are all used in these systems. New penalties for failure, such as illness, are also fun.
