Sabrent makes some of the best SSDs, but Western Digital and ADATA drives usually beat them in price. However, Sabrent's 2TB "Rocket Q" drive is currently down to $199.99, $50 off the regular price on Amazon. This makes it one of the cheapest 2TB NVMe drives while still offering excellent performance.

The Sabrent Rocket Q is an NVMe 1.3 SSD with advertised read speeds up to 3,200 MB/s and write speeds up to 2,900 MB/s. The storage uses QLC NAND flash memory and, like many high-end SSDs, has a DRAM buffer that improves performance during long read/write periods.

We reviewed a 4TB version of this drive in July and the Rocket Q scored 92% in our tests. Sequential reads were about 2,900 MB/sec and sequential writes were about 2,800 MB/sec. However, these results position the Rocket Q as one of the fastest NVMe drives on the market.
