Gaming PC with 10th generation Intel CPU and GTX 1660 Super now $850

Building your own desktop is usually cheaper than buying an off-the-shelf machine, but there is definitely a reason consoles are so popular. People want to buy something that is ready to use right out of the box, and sometimes a pre-assembled PC can be a great deal on sale. Despite its latest Intel Core i5 CPU and high-performance GPU, the ABS Challenger gaming PC is now down to just $849.99 on Newegg.

The configuration on sale features an Intel Core i5-10400 processor, a 6-core/12-thread CPU with a maximum turbo frequency of 4.3 GHz. It also has an unspecified 512GB SSD, 16GB of 3000MHz RAM, RGB lighting, and a 500W power supply. The ABS Challenger definitely stands out among off-the-shelf desktops, as many PCs in this price range still have small SSDs or only 8GB of RAM; Windows 10 Home Edition is also installed from the start.

The included graphics card is an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super, one of the best GPUs for 1080p (and some 1440p) gaming. If you are interested in seeing how it handles the most popular games, check out our review from last year.
