The Microsoft Flight Simulator has a strange rift with the airport at the bottom.

Last month, we were all amused and transfixed by several looming fortresses discovered in the Microsoft Flight Simulator landscape. And now a new curiosity has arrived that distorts reality. [A strange chasm has been discovered in Brazil. Even stranger, at the bottom of it is an airport.

The rift was apparently first discovered by Reddit's ReversedWindow, who bravely piloted a plane through it. I did the same, and it's weird in there. Very strange.

When you fall into the hole, you can see a small runway at the bottom. This seems to be a small airfield in Brazil, which you can find on the Microsoft Flight Simulator world map. It appears if you search for it on the world map of Microsoft Flight Simulator. If you choose it as your destination airport, you can see it yourself. You won't miss it. It is a huge and strange chasm.

The strange monolith we saw was most likely caused by a typo (the building was entered as 200 stories instead of 2), and perhaps the altitude above sea level of this airfield was also entered incorrectly in a spreadsheet somewhere, like a black hole trying to suck the planet up from the inside. causing this strange pitfall.

The Lagoa Nova runway is at the bottom of the rift, so you could set that as your departure airport. Warning: it would be next to impossible to take off from there, but at least a short visit to another dimension would be possible.

As expected, the plane's nose could not be made vertical.

Thanks, RPS!
