In February, we first saw the long-overdue readjustment of Tachanka in Rainbow Six Siege. As the game's least survivable defensive operator, it would be oddly sad to see him become more than a bizarre joke. As Morgan reported at the time, Tachanka gets a flame grenade launcher, and his famously nasty mounted machine gun becomes a detached primary weapon.

After months of silence on the matter, Ubisoft has confirmed that more Tachanka action will be coming this week. The video will be released on October 7 at 1:00 p.m. (6:00 a.m. EDT on October 8).

No one knows if this means an update will be delivered this week, but hackers have reportedly had access to the improved Tachanka for some time. Watch the video below:
