When will Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access be released in my time zone?

A full 20 years after its predecessor in the series, "Baldur's Gate 3" finally opens for Early Access this week. Developed by the excellent "Divinity: Baldur's Gate 3" builds on the strong RPG core of "Divinity" with an updated ruleset that is faithful to "D&D 5th Edition." While there have been many changes from the original game, Larian aims to bring the familiar freedom of "Baldur's Gate" to life in a modern way.

Unfortunately, Baldur's Gate 3 will not be released all at once. It will start in Early Access and the full release is more than a year away. Early Access starts tomorrow, but when on earth will we be able to play it?

Larian confirmed on Twitter that Baldur's Gate 3 Early Access will launch on Steam, GOG, and Google Stadia on Tuesday, October 6 at 10 am PDT. As a last-minute surprise, Larian confirmed that the Steam Mac version will also be released at the same time. Here are the times converted to some other regions:

Here is a countdown timer showing when it will be in your local time zone. pre-loading is not supported. The current build is apparently about 80 GB, which is unfortunate given the game's storage requirements of 150 GB.

Before we play Baldur's Gate 3, let's catch up on everything we know about Baldur's Gate 3. Also, check out our dedicated guide to the Baldur's Gate 3 classes and Baldur's Gate 3 races, which will be expanded during Early Access.
