Recreate Games, developer of the physics-based party game "Party Animals," has released the latest demo version of the game on Steam.

If you've played 2017's Gang Beasts, you'll be familiar with the brand of physics-based mayhem that Party Animals offers. The Internet loves cute puppies and kittens, especially if they do wonderfully weird things like wrestle awkwardly on jelly babies. So if you didn't know you needed to see it until now, good news.

This is not the first time the Party Animals demo has seen the light of day, most recently a previous version was released in June as part of the Steam festival, but Recreate Games wants to keep the teaser short and sweet.

You can request a free trial version on Steam anytime between now and October 13 (a week from today as of this writing). There is no official word yet from Recreate Games on when the full game will be released, but the Steam page currently says "late 2020," so it is probably not too far off at this point. The game is available for both online and local multiplayer, so it has the potential to become a staple game for any virtual Christmas party you might attend this year.
