HyperX makes some of our favorite gaming headsets, and the Cloud MIX is no exception. Right now, the HyperX Cloud MIX is reasonably priced at $130 on Amazon Prime Day.

The Cloud MIX was also available at this price six months ago and sold out quickly. If it does sell out, don't worry. There are other gaming headsets currently on sale waiting to find a new home for your head.

Of course, you must be an Amazon Prime member to participate in this sale (you can sign up for a free trial) and the discount should be applied at checkout.

In its natural state, the Cloud MIX is a great-sounding wired gaming headset with dual-chamber drivers and a lightweight aluminum frame. In another form, it functions as a Bluetooth headset for mobile devices. In other words, when you're done gaming, disconnect the 3.5mm and detachable microphone, pair it with your cell phone, and you're free as a bird (or as free as a 20-hour battery will allow). Not a bad deal, especially for those who want to limit the number of headphones they use per day, or are fed up with gaming headsets, commuting headsets, etc.

Our biggest complaint about the headset is that the $200 price is still too high; $130 would make it easier to recommend this interesting one-size-fits-all wired/Bluetooth gaming headset.
