Amazon Prime Day sale items continue to roll in, and while HyperX has already slashed the price of its Cloud Alpha S wired gaming headset, the Cloud Flight is also on sale for $99.99 for those interested in a wireless option. That's $40 off the original MSRP, but the headset has recently been priced closer to $125.

This high-end headset from HyperX features an adjustable steel headband, a detachable microphone with noise cancellation, and 90-degree rotating ear cups with LED effects. The connection uses a 2.4GHz wireless connection (using a USB adapter), so it should work fine within 20 meters of a PC, console, or other device. Battery life is another high point, with HyperX estimating up to 30 hours of operating time at 50% volume. That said, the headset lasts the longest when the LED lights are disabled.

We have yet to try the Cloud Alpha, but our friends at TechRadar gave the headset 4/5 stars for its long-lasting battery life and solid sound quality. However, the lack of compatibility with the Xbox One may be a downside for some, especially since most other wireless headsets work on all platforms.
