While not strictly a gaming monitor, the LG 27UK850-W is one of the most feature-packed and high-quality displays on sale on Amazon Prime Day. 27" is a very pixel-rich 4K display with an IPS panel, which offers cheaper TN better viewing angles and color quality than those offered by less expensive TN monitors. Unusually for a professional monitor, it also has a fast 5ms response time and supports FreeSync, which is ideal for gaming (it is not officially listed on Nvidia's list of certified G-Sync-enabled displays, but the Internet says it works). [HDR10 support and a USB Type-C port for video and charging. Great for keeping your phone charged or connecting a tablet.

While this is a great list of features for the price, don't expect top-of-the-line performance in every category. For example, this monitor supports HDR10, but 400 nits of brightness is not enough for a great HDR experience (you want at least 1000 nits for that). Also, while most of the best gaming monitors we recommend can achieve at least 120Hz, this monitor is limited to 60Hz.
