General
Ghost Story Games (formerly Irrational Games) is in the late stages of creating an immersive sim.

In 2017, a few years after Ken Levine announced the closure of Irrational Games, the BioShock development company finally disappeared. From its ashes, however, arose Ghost Story Games, formed by the remnants of the team that included Levine, and three years later, what it is still making under its new name remains a mystery.

We do know that it is an immersive sim. According to the art team's job posting, it was "an ambitious project in the immersive sim genre" that would use the Unreal Engine and make extensive use of environmental storytelling. Aside from this and subsequent job postings, little has been heard from the studio.

Again, you'll have to visit Take-Two's hiring page to extract valuable information from the studio; Gamespot found another senior producer opening yesterday.

"We are working on a new immersive sci-fi game with RPG elements. We're still in the late stages of production so we haven't announced any details yet."

Since this is the only game detail presented, it is still very sparse, but the fact that it is in the late stages of production is new information. However, it is also not a surprise since development has been underway since 2017.

Ghost Story Games currently has about 35 employees, which means it has increased by about 10 since the rebranding. Still, it remains a fairly small studio, but looking at what a small studio can produce these days, it's hard to say how that will affect the scope of the game; it's likely that it won't be as gorgeous as BioShock, but it still has Take-Two's backing and all the resources.

There are no hints yet as to when it will be released, so we will have to be content with speculation until then.
