One of the early classic Internet memes is the video "Techno Viking," which featured an extremely fit man in an archaically named fuck parade in Berlin in 2000. This is because the fascination of this particular moment is to question whether it is real or staged. But judging by the fact that the Techno Viking himself later sued the video's creator, it's probably not fake. The original can be found here (re-uploaded due to the court case).
Equally handsome is cosplayer Maul, who has done ads for the live-action Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Sure, he's being paid by Ubisoft to advertise the game, and I'm a sucker, but if you're going to have a medieval village and fine costumes, a techno-Viking homage seems like the best way to make the most of it.
The attention to detail, from replacing the canteen with a mead flagon to the use of symbolic "points" to warn fellow workers. Whatever its origins (geddit), this is a wonderful homage to one of the primordial memes.
