As if Fall Guys' introduction of a Sonic the Hedgehog skin wasn't enough, maybe it was overkill, according to PC Gamer's Fraser Brown, the next icon of pop culture will be Godzilla.

The tweet doesn't give much information other than the claim that the Fall Guys' version of Godzilla should be legitimized, but it appears to be a skin that can be purchased in the item store. While I had hoped that King of the Monsters would be the new Hazard, occasionally stomping through the levels (literally) to shake things up a bit, this more restrained version that plays as Godzilla may be better for everyone in the long run.

Skins for Fall Guys characters can be purchased using two in-game currencies: crowns and kudos.

Fall Guys has an official Godzilla Twitter account (which is real!) tagged the game, making it clear that this is a proper tie-in, not just a cheap imitation giant lizard knockoff. This bean qualifies.

No exact date has been given yet, but Godzilla is expected to appear on Fall Guys in the next week or so.
