General
This Xbox Series X refrigerator is a "win" prize.

The Xbox Series X is ugly. I know some people find its brutalist slab design attractive, but sometimes things can be ugly and attractive at the same time. But sometimes they can also be ugly and unattractive and simply grotesque. I would argue that this is the case with this Xbox Series X refrigerator.

Microsoft is leaning toward a joke in this giveaway about the Series X's refrigerator-like design, but what I enjoy about this marketing gag is that the Xbox Series X doesn't even look like a refrigerator. It looks like a terrible refrigerator, one that you would only want to own if you had no other refrigerator options. If that's the case for the winner, I'm happy for him, but sad for her as well.

As part of the gag, it doesn't help that Microsoft has illuminated the interior of the refrigerator with the sickly shades of the Xbox, making the food look unappetizing and unappetizing. The fridge is also stocked with doughnuts that don't fit in the fridge. Who eats chilled doughnuts?

If you want to guess the fridge, here are the rules.

Of course, we're on the sidelines of this year's new console launches, but that doesn't mean they're completely irrelevant to PC gamers. For example, Microsoft recently promised to release all first-party Xbox exclusives on the PC, and perhaps PC case designers will take a cue from Microsoft and Sony.

I hope not, because Sony's efforts don't help me much either: the Xbox Series X may look like an ugly refrigerator (and it is ugly as a refrigerator), but the PlayStation 5 is the next generation that would have topped Reddit circa 2010. It looks like an amateur concept render of a console. At the moment, my tastes lean more toward Noctua CPU coolers than shiny white sci-fi armor.
