Red Bull has "simplified" the League of Legends World Championship stream for beginners.

League of Legends is by far the most complex game out there. I have played hundreds of hours over the last year and still have no idea what I am doing. This makes it a little difficult to participate in the League of Legends World Championship Series, despite it being the largest esports event in the world. This year, Red Bull is attempting to make it easier for us newbies to participate: the finals on Saturday will feature a special "simplified" stream for newbies and players who have never played the league before.

The championship match between Chinese powerhouse Suning Gaming and Korean powerhouse Damwon will begin at 3:00 AM Pacific Time (since the event is being held in Shanghai this year), while Red Bull's simplified stream will begin at 2:00 AM Pacific Time (10:00 AM Central European Time). Hosted by Frankie Ward (who is also our PC Game Show co-host) and broadcaster Tom Deacon, the show will feature a number of special guests, from well-known LoL casters to experts and analysts from the biggest teams. The goal is to break down the game and explain what is happening on screen in a way that non-players can follow.

A simplified stream of Red Bull can be found on Twitch or YouTube. Personally, I am excited to have more options for watching the Final Championship and will be switching between Red Bull and the regular broadcasts to see which I prefer. Sometimes it helps to have someone who not only explains the matches themselves, but also explains why they are the way they are.

Again, the final between Suning and Dam Won starts at 3:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time on Saturday, with Red Bull's simplified stream starting an hour before that; if you're not sure what Worlds is, here is a comprehensive explanation.
