Asus ROG, with water-cooled Radeon RX 6800 XT, works great with AMD Big Navi

AMD unveiled its Radeon RX 6000 series graphics cards last night, and now it's the turn of third-party board partners to show off their RDNA 2 creations. Asus unveiled a handful of huge coolers, including the incredibly extra AiO liquid cooled ROG Strix LC Radeon RX 6800 XT announced a handful of huge coolers, including.

The Strix LC is quite something: Asus says the graphics card is attached (via extra-long tubes) to a twin-fan 240mm radiator to maintain a slim profile and keep temperatures low in most cases. The card also features a blower-style radial fan, which is sort of the best solution for both. This is "sort of" because blower-style fans are only suitable for compact builds.

The secondary fan is a low-noise design, Asus explains, and is included to keep the card's power supply cool. And did we mention that it has RGB lighting? With two included 120mm fans and an RGB lighting zone on the front of the card, this card promises to be a lot flashier and cooler than the reference product.

Asus has also announced the Strix model of the RX 6800, the least expensive RDNA 2-specification ever released; the ROG Strix RX 6800 is a large graphics card with three fans (one in the middle spins in reverse), ventilation cutouts under the rear plate and RGB lighting on the sides.

Besides the pricier Strix model, Asus has introduced two TUF models, the RX 6800 XT and the RX 6800; TUF cards are usually priced close to the reference cost of the card, so the RX 6800 XT costs $649 and the RX 6800 $579. 2 .9 slot size and three Axial-tech fans, so these cards are still pretty chunky as well. Also RGB.

Asus will also have a reference card design for the Big Navi GPU at launch, which is essentially what we've already seen, but with an Asus sticker on it.

AMD's Radeon RX 6800 XT and RX 6800 graphics cards will be available on November 18. The RX 6900 XT for ultra-enthusiasts will also be available on December 8, but it is not yet clear if third-party cards will be the first to be released.
