General
This Nvidia GPU driver will make your PC compatible with RTX 3070 and Watch Dogs Legion.

The much-anticipated GeForce RTX 3070 was released from retailers yesterday, and as with the 3080 and 3090 that preceded it, retailers immediately sold out of available units. Supply will eventually catch up with demand. Until then, at least we can prepare our PCs with Nvidia's latest GPU drivers.

Given that driver updates can sometimes have unintended consequences, that alone is not much reason to install new drivers from scratch. However, that is not the only official support for 3070.

Nvidia's latest "Game Ready" 457.09 GPU driver also provides optimizations for Watch Dogs Legion, which launched yesterday. Both raytrace reflection and DLSS support accompany the launch of Watch Dogs Legion, which is a better reason to jump on this driver.

In addition, the latest driver adds four more G-Sync-enabled monitors. These include newly verified models from Acer (XB323U GX), Asus (VG279QL1A), Dell (AW2521HFLA), and Gigabyte (FI25F), bringing the total number of G-Sync capable monitors now to 98. The new additions are all high refresh rate models (165 Hz or higher).

The 457.09 driver also fixes several issues, including:

And finally, Nvidia's new GPU drivers enhance the One-Click Optimal Settings (OPS) feature in GeForce Experience, and are now compatible with Age of Empires III:. Definitive Edition, Baldur's Gate 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare (adding Reflex support), Call of Duty: Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War, Desperados III, Fortnite (adds DLSS, Reflex, and raytracying support), Mafia: Definitive Edition, Medieval Dynasty, Phasmophobia, Pumpkin Jack, Second Extinction, Serious Sam 4, Star Wars: Squadrons, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, The Wind Road, and more.

You can obtain the latest drivers from GeForce Experience or download and install them manually from Nvidia's driver page.
