According to EKWB, this mouth-watering looking special edition Nvidia RTX 3080 Founders Edition water block will be ready soon. In fact, the company is about to complete its "most advanced waterblock to date," and you may be able to get your hands on one via pre-order by the end of the week.

We have already mentioned the stunning construction of this cooler. It may be a little less easy to buy an RTX 3080 Founders Edition to install this, but at least you'll be prepared when stocks eventually return around the world.

EKWB calls this new Special Edition water block its most advanced to date, and certainly from the surface it is a little easier to see what they are talking about. It's already a bit unconventional, with the threaded channels coming out of the back of the block rather than the edges parallel to the PCB.

I expect the internals to be further tweaked as well, as this block looks incredibly well machined, just from looking at the pictures above.

EKWB also announced a block for the AMD Radeon RX 6000 series GPUs this week, which will be designed to work with the AMD Ryzen CPU block. The initial design is a bit less flashy than today's Nvidia Special Edition. But if the RX 6000 series cards are as big a hit as AMD says they will be, expect to see even more effort put into the design for the often neglected Red Team.
