At some point in time, I am sure we all wanted to be a firefighter. The uniforms are cool, the fire trucks are awesome, and it would be nice to spray water everywhere. But in a child's imagination, being a firefighter is one of the most fascinating jobs.
"Firefighting Simulator - The Squad" is a cooperative simulation for up to four players, and sim fans will find it from Astragon Entertainment, the developer of "Bus Simulator" and "Construction Simulator" publishing. The game has been in development for a very long time and was first published as an Unreal Engine title in 2016 as "Firefighting Simulator, without The Squad. "In 2017, an Unreal Engine title on Steam called "Firefighting Simulator, without The Squad" that lets you coo over trucks. A "Showroom" demo was released, but since then there has been complete silence.
But something is burning...
Somewhat surprisingly, the foundation of the game is a complex sounding fire simulation that takes into account the cause of the fire, the fuel source, the effects of the amount of heat and smoke, and phenomena such as backdrafts and flashovers. Fires spread dynamically, and physics-based destruction models "realistic" damage to structures and sometimes civilians in need of rescue.
The game also features a single-player mode with AI companions and a number of officially licensed U.S. firefighting equipment and vehicles.Firefighting Simulator - The Squad will be available on Steam on November 17.
