Gaming PC with RTX 2080 on sale for $1,270

Nvidia technically released its new GeForce RTX 3080 graphics card two months ago, and since then it has been almost impossible to find this card in stock. However, PC manufacturers are still trying to get rid of gaming PCs with older GPUs, which means favorable sales for us. Currently on Newegg, you can buy an MSI Aegis gaming desktop with an RTX 2080 graphics card for $1,270.

The model on sale is powered by an Intel Core i7-9700F processor, which is one generation old but has 8 cores and 8 threads with a maximum clock speed of 4.7 GHz. It also comes with 16GB of 3,000MHz RAM (2x8GB), a 1TB SSD of unknown type for storage, a 650W power supply, and a Z370 "Gaming Plus" motherboard (presumably from MSI, although the manufacturer is not named on the product page). Gaming PCs usually have one or two odd or cheap components that spoil the package, such as a low-power PSU or single-channel memory, but there don't seem to be any such tricks here.

The graphics card included is none other than Nvidia's GeForce RTX 2080, the company's first high-end ray-tracing GPU. Even with the later introduction of the 2080 Ti and 2080 Super, it is still a phenomenal graphics card and will have no problem playing any PC game available today at 1080p or 1440p.
