Colorado's Hellish Highway Comes to American Truck Simulator on November 12

About a year ago now, before Christmas, I drove "American Truck Simulator" from east to west, documenting the scenery and soundtrack. That's because SCS Software's United States of America is still under construction, with eight completed so far and a ninth, Colorado, coming to Steam on November 12. No prices are currently listed on the store page, but other older states were around $12/£10 at the time of release.

According to SCS, Colorado will be a colorful map with lots of mountains, but I'm personally looking forward to the gray stretch, which PC Gamer's state expert James Davenport points out is "a big mess on I-25 and I-70," meandering from 1:14 in the new trailer Check out the highway spiral.

In addition to literally new states, owners of the Special Transportation DLC can run three new routes: from Denver Airport to Grand Junction, from Sterling to Colorado Springs, and from the Denver Train Depot to Gold Mine (apparently near Colorado Springs).

Of course, the most jaw-dropping update to American Truck Sim this year is that you can now open the windows in the garage to stretch your legs.
