Filming for the second season of the Netflix version of The Witcher has been temporarily halted due to a COVID infection on set, Deadline reported; according to Deadline, four people working on the show tested positive, and "those affected have been quarantined and the main cast not included." [This is because Christopher Hivu, who played Tormund Giantsbane in "Game of Thrones" and the cursed Niveren in "The Witcher," tested positive. Production eventually resumed in mid-August.
