Ubisoft mistakenly offers Norwegian buyers a Viking discount on "Assassin's Creed Valhalla".

A Redditor at r/pcgaming noticed an error in the pricing of Assassin's Creed Valhalla Ultimate Edition on the official Norwegian Ubisoft store. As can be seen in the screenshot below, the original price of 1,199kr (about $130/£100) has been temporarily lowered to 109,99kr (about $12/£9). Another user suggested that the price cut might be a "special discount to inspire the game". The one region that deserves a special discount for Assassin's Creed Valhalla would be the cradle of the Vikings. In that case, other parts of Scandinavia should really benefit, and England, where it is set, might benefit as well.

This mistake can be easily explained by looking at the areas of the store that use the Euro. It is most likely that these prices were copied incorrectly or that the commas were in the wrong place when the prices were changed. Even though the price has now been corrected, several posters in the thread have reported purchasing the game at the incorrect price. We have contacted Ubisoft to see if they plan to honor these sales prices.
