SnowRunner, two big Canadian maps and a big trailer on Nov. 16

SnowRunner's season pass will continue to be offered with Explore & Expand, which will be released on November 16. This is the second of four planned phases (seasons), and after the Russian map in the first, this time around quite a bit of content will be added to the game; Explore & Expand features two major new maps, both set in the Yukon region of Canada.

Those who miss mudrunning will be able to breathe a sigh of relief as one of the new maps features both snow and mud. Of course, the map also has plenty of beautiful Canadian mountains, hills, and rivers, as well as frozen lakes that shatter precariously under your tires.

Aside from the map, this update adds several new vehicles, including the Caterpillar TH357, a forklift that can lift other vehicles with little effort, the massive Caterpillar 770G fuel truck, and a surprisingly long trailer. To make the most of the new long bois, Explore & Expand also has new cargo, including cabins and cars, which will be needed in the new Season 2 missions.

If you want a closer look at the new elements, there are plenty of videos from streamers who have played the new map on SnowRunner's public test server, which will give you a pretty good idea of what you can expect, although they are subject to change.

As in the past, players who do not have a season pass can look forward to new content, including customization options, new trials, and new extreme cargo. If you're still deciding if the running lifestyle is for you, check out Andy's SnowRunner review and new images from next season below.
