Believe the hype around the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.

General
Believe the hype around the Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti.

Multiple listings of the RTX 3060 Ti have appeared in the EEC (Eurasian Economic Union's Electronics Equipment Registration Database), adding more fuel to the fire of the mid-range RTX 30 series and perhaps suggesting that the RTX 3060 Ti release date is imminent.

Asus, Palit, and Inno3D all have RTX 3060 Ti graphics cards in their databases, which is usually where we find evidence of graphics cards that have not yet been released.

Asus provides the most specific information. Its RTX 3060 Ti entry suggests multiple models in the ROG Strix, TUF, Turbo, Pheonix, and Dual lineups. Inno3D, on the other hand, has loosely registered the generic names RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3060. So far, however, we have only seen overwhelming evidence of the former, the Ti model.

It is possible that Inno3D is simply covering its bases with preliminary registrations. We have seen a wide variety in the EEC database over the years: RX 5800 XT, RX 5900XT... You name it.

In fact, if we look at Palit's registration, we see a perfect example. This GPU manufacturer has registered every possible RTX 30 series nomenclature, from RTX 3090s to RTX 3060s.

But even if specifics are lacking, there is still something to be gained from this registration. It is a simple fact that graphics card manufacturers are expecting mid-range RTX 30 series cards in the near future, or in this case many graphics card manufacturers are envisioning such a situation. These three companies certainly believe the hype.

At the very least, there is certainly a treasure trove of leaks that can be pointed to regarding the existence of the RTX 3060 Ti. A Saudi Arabian retailer recently claimed (against Nvidia's wishes) that it actually has the card in stock and ready to ship, and a leaked roadmap from a Galax presentation in China purportedly showing the RTX 3060's arrival. And there was also a GPU-Z verification page for the RTX 3060 Ti.

And let's not forget the specs from serial leaker kopite7kimi on Twitter, but you get the picture.

While we may not yet be certain that RTX 3060 Ti and RTX 3060 will be available before the holidays, we can at least expect to see mid-range RTX 3060 cards like this one soon. the AMD RX 6800 series Big Navi GPUs are expected to be competitive Given that Nvidia is expected to be the first to offer the RTX 3060, there is no doubt that Nvidia is looking to put out all the cannons, and the RX 6800 series will be the most likely choice.

The only possibility that the launch of such a GPU could be delayed immediately would be if Nvidia felt the need to stockpile a lot of inventory for the big day. Demand for existing RTX 30 series graphics cards is tremendous and far outstrips supply, and the RTX 3060 Ti is likely to be one of the most popular cards in numbers alone, if such a card exists.
