Even though things have been a bit quieter around Fall Guys, developer Mediatonic is working hard to meet the huge demand for updates and to live up to the explosive popularity of the battle royale at launch. A new mid-season update was launched today, featuring goose costumes. Even Korean pop sensation BTS, who plays Fall Guys on their show Run BTS, has players a little disappointed with the amount of content in Season 2 and are excited for the next season.

On Reddit, two community managers briefly mentioned a third season in a discussion about mid-season updates. Community Director Oliver Hindle said, "The team is confident that Season 3 will be on a higher level than Season 2." Since our launch we have grown significantly with people joining the studio each week. We have invested a lot in growing our team and have big plans moving forward for the game. We are committed to improving it over time and filling it with new content."

Mediatonic had recruited several new employees following the unexpected success of Fall Guys, so these people have since been hired and are now doing their best to deliver what sounds like an ambitious content plan. We already know that the new round, originally planned for a mid-season update, will instead be included in Season 3, and Hindle's comments indicate that the team is listening to feedback and trying to maintain excitement about the game.
