General
The nastiest of Call of Duty: Black Ops killstreaks is now in Warzone.

Black Ops' most infamous killstreak, RC-XD, is now available in Call of Duty: Black Ops - War Zone ahead of the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War. This little explosive is not available for purchase at buy stations like other killstreaks. For now, it can only be obtained by completing a special deal in a private match or practice round.

If you want to see for yourself, it's pretty simple. Simply activate the Practice Match mode in the War Zone and look for the contract with the radioactive symbol on the map while flying (if this is the first time you have activated Practice, it may not show up until the second time). What we are looking for is a contract called "Detection". When you start this, you get a special heartbeat sensor that tracks radiation. Following the signal in the same way as the heartbeat will lead you to a special loot crate containing RC-XD.

Once you activate this battle vehicle, it will operate as you remember it from the original Black Ops. In addition to dealing massive amounts of explosive damage (enough to kill a standard robot instantly), the explosion leaves behind a toxic cloud similar to the effect of a gas grenade. Eagle-eyed fans will also notice that Warzone's version of the vehicle is modeled after Frank Woods' pickup truck, which keeps turning over in its Cold War-era trailer.

As one of the first elements brought directly from Cold War to Warzone, it is worth noting that the Warzone RC-XD looks, sounds, and feels different from the Cold War version; not all of Cold War's weapons and blueprints have been introduced into Warzone Nevertheless, as two games with two different engines and teams, we should not expect everything to translate seamlessly.

Why keep RC-DX a secret? It is probably to build anticipation for Cold War. Also, Infinity Ward may be trying to avoid using kill streaks in regular matches for now. It may need to be tweaked as I have noticed that cars really struggle on uneven ground like the Quarry tracks.
