"Destiny 2: Beyond Light" has been up and running for two days, and players have been hooked on the game. Players have recently noticed that Beyond Light is particularly friendly to two exotics.

Victim #1, The Rose hand cannon, was supposed to be nerfed to 140 rounds per minute as part of a sandbox update, but was removed after players reported it remained at 150 rpm; Whiterhoard's grenade launcher also played its had served its purpose too well. The area of effect left by the grenade was creating a time-lapse damage effect that was not only causing players to do a lot of damage in PvP, but also ensuring kills. This is a completely new issue, and appears to be due to a balance adjustment made in anticipation of the new Beyond Light content.

However, the removal of the Witherhoard seems to have had a cascading effect, and players have since reported that several other guns have gone haywire.

Bungie is currently investigating issues related to Beyond Light, so keep checking the Bungie Help Twitter account for updates. Beyond Light introduces a huge number of changes, so expect unexpected quirks and further tweaks.
