[Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War] We're just a few hours away from the worldwide release of the PC version of Cold War. Activision is handling the release date in a somewhat confusing manner this year. Those using consoles in certain regions may already have access to the game. But for the PC version, it's a different story.

So when exactly will "Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War" unlock in your region?

Cold War's unlock time varies slightly by platform: on PC (through the Battle.net app), Cold War will launch worldwide on November 13, 2020, at 12:00 a.m. EST. Activision has not yet released a timeline for when this time will be reflected in other regions Activision has posted a handy map above showing how this time will be reflected in other regions. Here is a handy countdown timer that shows when "Cold War" will be released in your time zone.

On PS4, PS4, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S, Activision is doing a "rolling" launch. This means that console players in New Zealand, the farthest time zone away, will have many hours of play time. There is a way to take advantage of this pre-emption by changing the console's region to New Zealand (easiest on Xbox), but at this point it is better to wait for the real launch.

Activision has been making announcements at a steady pace for the Cold War launch. In case you missed it, Cold War players on PlayStation will get XP before everyone else; a roadmap for Cold War Season 1 has also been released. Expect more maps, weapons, and modes in the coming weeks.
