Corsair's new gaming PCs have all the hardware you can't buy now

Above all, 2020 will be remembered as the year of out-of-stock hardware; for PC gamers, the ultimate workaround is to buy a pre-built desktop, and Corsair's new Vengeance a7200 comes with some hard-to-find hardware options.

As such, the Vengeance a7200 comes with several hard-to-find hardware options.

Thus, the Vengeance a7200 is Corsair's first and so far only desktop to offer AMD's new Ryzen 5000 series based on Zen 3. two of the four chips, namely the Ryzen 7 5800X and Ryzen 9 5900X. There is also the Intel Core i9 10850K option.

For the all-important graphics cards, Corsair offers all three SKUs that make up the GeForce RTX 30 series, including the Nvidia RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070. These parts are virtually impossible to find in stock for DIY builds, and that could last all year. Similarly, Corsair is not immune to hardware shortages.

As of this writing, the only combination with the "Add To Cart" button lit up is a Core i9 10850K, GeForce RTX 3080, 32GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD + 2TB HDD, 750W PSU, Windows 10 Home for $2,800.

My estimate is about $2,100 worth of hardware and software (OS) when you factor in things like a Z490 motherboard, 4000D Airflow mid-tower case and H100i RGB Platinum all-in-one liquid cooler.

Other combinations, including Ryzen 5000 series CPUs, have grayed out "Add to Cart" buttons. However, since this is an entirely new desktop line, more hardware combinations will probably become available sooner rather than later.

Whenever that time comes, here are the full hardware options:

The configuration tool is fully loaded with a Core i9 10850K, GeForce RTX 3090, 64GB RAM, 2TB SSD + 2TB HDD, Windows 10 Pro build, only outputs one other combined price of $4,500.

While obviously more expensive than a homebrew, Corsair's build quality is very good in our experience, and we recently reviewed the Vengeance a4100. However, all of this is moot until Corsair can get more inventory on hand.
