When it comes to the actor who posed the biggest challenge to make-up and prosthetics on the Amazon show “Fallout,” you'd probably pick the ghouls. It's Walton Goggins, a 200-year-old decaying (but attractive) mutant with no nose and covered in scar tissue. Developing Goggins' prosthetics took months and hours spent each day of filming, but according to Michael Harvey, head of makeup for “Fallout,” the difficulties were not the only ones.

Ella Purnell, who played Lucy, a resident of the Vault, was another major makeup challenge.

“What most people don't know about Ella Purnell, unless they do a lot of research, is that she is covered in tattoos. She's covered in tattoos from head to toe,” Harvey told PC Gamer. And in almost all of episode one, she's running around in a wedding dress.”

Parnell's character grew up in an idyllic vault, so it makes sense that she would have tattoos. 'Even when she leaves the ultra-luxury mart, whenever her vault suit is down, I cover up my tattoos,' she says.
