MSI's attempt at a killer 4K gaming OLED segment has always looked appealing. In a word, the price: at $899, it's the cheapest of the bunch.

There's a catch, of course: you can't buy the MSI MAG 321UPX. At least, it has been almost impossible to buy. But now you can buy it from Newegg for $899.

I reviewed this monitor back in May. At least, I reviewed the MSI MAG 321URX, which is identical except for the USB-C interface and 90W power delivery. This 321UPX model (note the second-to-last “P” whereas the other models have an “R”) supplies only 15W with a USB-C connection.

Aside from its details, it has the same stunning QD-OLED panel. However, it is not perfect. Like other monitors with Samsung's QD-OLED panel technology, the color balance is slightly warmer. Also, because of the quantum dot technology and the lack of polarizing filters, the panel reflects ambient light in really bright environments, making the black tones look a bit gray.
