As the sun rises each day, another ambitious RPG has been forced to be postponed; Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2's release is not far off, but a bit ahead of schedule; missing its original release date of 2024, and instead being pushed back to 2025, the game is now It looks like it's going to happen. The RPG sequel was announced earlier this year, and given the rumors about its development, hardly anyone was surprised. Developer Warhorse has made a huge splash the first time around, creating an impressive medieval romp set in the forests and castles of Bohemia, mixing bawdy shenanigans with drama and intrigue.

In a world full of fantasy RPGs, “Kingdom Come” is refreshingly grounded. It is a historical drama, in which casting spells and defeating monsters is replaced by cooking herbs and dueling knights. The main character, Henry, is also relatively grounded. At least at first, he is just a naive blacksmith's son.

The original game is undeniably grandiose, but despite its scale, it does not force players into endless diversions or map-clearing nonsense. This time around, Warhorse expands the scale even further, promising a game that at least doubles in map size. [...] [...] [...] [...] [...]
