Ever since I saw a doodle clip of an adorable castle on a social networking site, I've been lusting after Tiny Glade. This tiny, laid-back building game has attracted a lot of cozy gaming fans, and it ranks much higher on the list of most wishlisted games on Steam (#19 at the time of writing) than I'm used to seeing cozy games. pounce Light” has just been announced for release on September 23.

Tiny Glade is a small building toy game in the vein of Townscaper, but with more editing tools; whereas Townscaper is fairly simple in its construction, Tiny Glade is highly customizable in The Sims Tiny Glade leans more toward The Sims' highly customizable features. Nevertheless, the procedural playfulness is still there, and half the fun is discovering how the building changes depending on what you attach to it. For example, a walkway leading to a wall will create an arch that will be followed by a walkway, and shortening the roof of a castle will turn it into a rampart.

The new Tiny Glade trailer reveals a few small details yet to be seen in the lovely diorama, such as water features and ducks. Also shown is a large castle covered in snow, which definitely gave me goosebumps. [...] [...] [...] [...] [...]
