Modders recreating the original Fallout with the Fallout 4 engine will release their first demo today.

Recently, an ambitious Fallout 4 mod has been irradiating the gaming world: London. After years of waiting, this mod, which brings Fallout's wasteland to the sunny England across the pond, was released last month and is truly impressive.

But Fallout: London isn't the only major Fallout 4 mod you should know about, and it's not the only news. Tune your Radiation Kings to Fallout: Vault 13! The demo is out today, and you can be one of the first survivors to strap on your Pip-Boy and start wandering the OG wasteland.

If you're not familiar with "Fallout": If you haven't heard of Vault 13, it's probably because it's been pretty quiet the past few years. The modders behind this project are trying to recreate the original Fallout with the Creation Engine. I'm glad to see that this mod is still on track and look forward to seeing how it turns out.

Fallout: In April, Bethesda abruptly patched Fallout 4 for a "next-gen update," forcing Vault 13 modders to delay the release of their demo earlier this year. However, the Fallout 13 demo is scheduled for 9 p.m.: The Vault 13 demo is scheduled for 9 p.m. ET tonight. No word on where the files will be available for download: modders have requested that those interested visit their Discord announcement channel.

It is also not clear how much of it will be included in the demo: much of the "Fallout: Vault 13" footage on their YouTube channel is from key locations in the original "Fallout" and "Fallout 2," and the "Fallout" TV earlier this year It is dedicated to recreating the "Shady Sands," not to mention the huge controversy it caused in the series. The majority of the demo will focus on this, which we will find out later today.
