Co-op survival game "Enshrouded" updated to add more than 30 difficulty sliders to make things tougher or easier.
[Feedback on Early Access survival games usually comes from two sources. Give people a big open world and some will always want the best and most challenging experience, while others will want to farm, build bases, and have chill experiences with friends.

Enshrouded has tried to satisfy both camps at once. The new "Back to the Shroud" update to the survival game is loaded with difficulty options. In fact, it's chock-full of difficulty options, with over 30 (31!) different difficulty settings. ) difficulty settings to tailor the game to the exact experience you've been looking for.

You can start with the predictable slider, which allows you to change options such as how much damage enemies and bosses do to you, monster health, your health, mana, and stamina increase or decrease. In addition, you can also set the details of how far the monsters' perception range is, how many monsters can spawn at once, and how many can attack at the same time. I like hordes of enemies, but I don't like to be swarmed by them. ...... Even those who "like swarms of enemies, but not being swarmed by them," can find a middle ground.

Survivalists looking for a more traditional experience will be pleased. Enshrouded finally makes it possible to starve to death. With "starvation mode" enabled, you must eat to live, and you can even adjust the time between emptying your stomach and starvation. You can now also specify what you lose when you die. By default, you only lose crafting materials, which are dropped into a container at the location where you died, but you can also make it so that you lose all your equipment, as in Valheim. Ouch. Or, conversely, you can choose to lose nothing. It's your choice.

Sliders can also vary the difficulty quite significantly in both directions. Most of the sliders I have played with in updates can be reduced to 20%, with a maximum of 400% or 500%.

One setting I am personally excited about is the ability to set separate day and night times. Using the slider, you can set the day to (practically) an hour and the night to just 2 minutes. Sweet.

To change the difficulty of the game, choose a character, select "Play," and when the world selection comes up, choose "Edit." Then start sliding.Enshrouded's "Back to the Shroud" update is available now. Click here for the full patch notes.
