Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree's final boss, Promised Consort Radahn, is a significant upgrade from the base game boss. Even famous Elden Ring player Let Me Solo Her had trouble defeating this god. But as with any game, given enough time, players will find a way to make even the toughest bosses look like little babies.

One player took it to the extreme and decided to one-shot Radahn with NG+7, giving him 143,411 in one hit and bringing the god to his knees in less than 30 seconds. The player uploaded the fight to r/EldenRing and casually declared that he had achieved a one-shot record. From the looks of it, they didn't even use a weapon, opting instead for an Ancient Dragon Lightning Strike.

Given Radahn's size, this attack is quite deadly on its own. This is because each bolt of lightning counts as a separate hit and does damage to each. Initially, there were apparently five lightning bolts, each of which must deal 28,682 damage. The remaining lightning bolts fell after Ladern's strength ran out, so he probably could have taken down a stronger target.

Such damage, however, cannot be accomplished simply by using the Ancient Dragon's Lightning Strike. In the comments, some people have even requested, "Next time use the full 2-minute buff sequence."

Another player is actually trying to theorize what was used to achieve such a powerful hit, since so far no one knows for sure." Says that player, "I see a neutralizing bolus and a lulling branch on the hot bar, so it looks like Exultation. I am guessing St. Trina's Smile, the Blood Lord's Delight, the Kinsman's Delight of Corruption, and the Old One's Delight." In addition, the frenzied flame spell, the perfume bottle of poison, the ashes of seppuku, and the branch of lull are other candidates, all of which seem to stack with the black dumpling (the helmet that protects the player).

As for amulets, a combination of Godfrey Icon, Red Feather Branch Sword, Lightning Scorpion, and Canvas of Flock and Belief would help the Ancient Dragon's lightning strike." Physick would be Lightning-Shrouding and Bloodsucking tears," the player continues. 'Probably. It may sound excessive, but honestly, if you are going to take on God, this is the kind of preparation you will need.

It's as if the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC has turned the difficulty down a notch and streamers are trying to scrape the flesh from Radahn's bones and see who can take down Melania's spiritual successor in the most outrageous way possible. I have seen players beat the last boss by simply using the dance pad and controller at the same time to pass off the laddern without dodging, blocking, or parrying. Who knows how this god will be defeated next?
