There is no excuse not to play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

General
There is no excuse not to play Deus Ex: Mankind Divided.

"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is truly an injustice of a game: like "Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire" and "Tyranny" (Obsidian is a form of these), this game accomplished so much but didn't make a big splash. It didn't make the headlines. Don't get me wrong, "Mankind Divided" sold millions of copies, but apparently not enough to bother completing the trilogy. Conspiracy. Conspiracies against video games.

Brave readers, do your part to undermine that conspiracy here and now: Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is currently available for free on Prime Gaming. This means that anyone with a Prime subscription can get a DRM-free GOG key at this very moment. However, we do not recommend subscribing just to get this game: the game has been sold many times in the past for only a few dollars.

But if you have Prime and don't have "Mankind Divided," you should get it; DXMD's Prague is a jewel in the immersive sim crown, along with Karnaca in "Dishonored 2" and Sevastopol in "Alien: Isolation." Unlike "Human Revolution," which had "Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines"-like hubs, "Mankind Divided" has a sprawling city that you will return to again and again, filled with hidden nooks and crannies to explore and discover.

The game even has something I absolutely love in video games: the option to try your hand at robbing banks. Not since "UPLINK" has there been a game where you can commit such a lucrative crime.

So if you haven't played it a full eight years (what a surprise) after its release, you officially have no excuse. If you're not a Prime member, that's fine. Or if you're just frustrated by the fact that the game clearly ended on a hook that has you hoping for a sequel, and no one seems to be making that happen.

Oh yeah, and while I'm at it, I'll also buy three Tomb Raiders: the Angel of Darkness, The Last Revelation, Chronicles, and SteamWorld Heist. They are truly bounty hunters.
