Valve's Codename Project Discovered in Voice Actor's Resume, "Half-Life" Fans Given Another Clown Makeover

It's that time of year again. This time it's a leak from a video game voice actor's resume that has sparked a new rumor that Valve is working on a new Half-Life game.

The voice actors in question have worked on Starfield, Fallout 76, Valorant, Ghostbusters: This voice actor has worked on Starfield, Fallout 76, Valorant, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed" and "Call of Duty: Vanguard" and cites "Project White Sands" as a game Valve has worked on. someone on the Gaming Leaks and Rumours subreddit spotted it and now The race is on again.

Previous leaks had revealed that Valve was developing a multiplayer shooter called Deadlock, codenamed Citadel, which later became Neon Prime. The codename "White Sands" resonates with Half-Life's Black Mesa, the name of a NASA test facility and missile launch site in New Mexico. (It was the missile launch site where the first atomic bomb was tested in 1945.)

We last heard rumors of a new Half-Life game back in February, when a data string found in a Counter-Strike 2 update suggested the existence of two projects in development at Valve. One was the previously mentioned "Citadel," which evolved into "Deadlock," and the other appeared under the initials "hlx. It was suggested that this could refer to something underwhelming from our point of view, like a cross-play version of Half-Life: Alyx for PSVR2, but as far as Half-Life is concerned, hope is eternal. [replies included "HL3 copium is back boys," "Half Life hero shooter," and "Fuck it, put the clown makeup back on.
